Our Buenos Aires office is registered as AGUMAR SERVICIOS TURISTICOS S.R.L.  EVT Leg 11222 Exp 773/01 running under trade name of SCENERY TRAVEL SERVICE and holds all regulatory approvals and licenses required.

A. Contract

A booking is accepted and becomes definite from the date Scenery Travel Service has received the client’s initial deposit. It is at this point that a binding contract between Scenery Travel Service and the Client comes into existence. By submitting deposit and personal information, clients agree to our Terms and Conditions. The contract is between Scenery Travel Service and the Client, being all persons named on the booking form. The person signing the booking form warrants that he/she has full authority on behalf of all the persons whose names appear thereon, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions.

B. Payment

To secure a booking with Scenery Travel Service, the client must deposit 30%of the total amount due. The balance of all monies due must be paid to Scenery Travel Service no later than 30 days before departure. In case of non-payment of the balance by the due date Scenery Travel Service will treat the booking as cancelled by the Client. In the case of bookings made within 30 days of the departure date full payment of the balance is due immediately. Payment can either be made by transferring the total amount of the invoice to our bank accounts. All wiring and transfer costs   should be assumed by The Client.

C. Changes & Cancellation by the Client

Any changes to the original booking must be confirmed by the person signing the booking form. Any costs or charges, which we incur or which are incurred or levied by our suppliers as a result of the amendment, will be charged to the Client. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate changes and additional requests, their availability cannot be guaranteed.

The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to Scenery Travel Service in writing. Cancellation charges will be applied as shown below calculated from the day written notification is received by Scenery Travel Service. In addition to the charges shown below airlines may impose 100% cancellation charges.

In case part of a booking is cancelled, the remaining party may have to pay additional charges (e.g. under-occupancy, or single room supplements).

– Please note that different cancellation policies will apply for Christmas, New Year and Special Dates.

D. Changes and Cancellation by Scenery Travel Service

Our trips are guaranteed to depart once they have one fully paid traveller unless minimum group size specifically states otherwise.  We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to war, terrorism, natural or nuclear disasters, political instability, pandemic  or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or receive a full refund.  In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs.  Scenery Travel Service is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.     

E. Passport, Visa and Vaccinations

The Client must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and inoculation certificates for the countries which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. Scenery Travel Service is not responsible if the Client is refused to entry to a country because of lack of correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

F. Illness or disability

Anyone suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the tour in which case all monies paid will be forfeit.

G. Travel Insurance

Scenery Travel Service does not provide such service and our prices do not include Travel Insurance. However, we recommend purchasing it through a reputable Insurance Company.

H. Complaints

If the Client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements he/she must bring it to the attention of the group leader or our local representative at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint should be put in writing to Scenery Travel Service within 30 days of the end of the tour.

I. Our responsibility

Scenery Travel Service declares that it solely acts as intermediary between the Client and the various suppliers and individuals that renders the travel services specified in the confirmed program, namely hotels, transportation companies, tour guides, restaurants, attractions, etc. Therefore, Scenery Travel Service disclaims any liability resulting from the damages that may occur to either the Client who travels through its intervention or to the baggage or any other personal effects during the tour.  Scenery Travel Service accepts responsibility for ensuring that the tour which the Client books with us is supplied as described in the final version of the travel program the Client will receive upon arrival and the services reach a good standard. 

Scenery Travel Service  shall not be liable for events caused by chance and/or force majeure and/or weather conditions and/or acts of nature that may take place before or during the tour and prevent, delay or hinder in any way, totally or partially, the rendering of the contracted services.

In the event of an accident, when transportation is carried out in vehicles hired by the organizer, the traveler expressly submits to the legislation in force in the country where the vehicle is registered, waiving any claim, so that any compensation due, shall be paid to beneficiaries or legal representatives in the country of registration of the vehicle and in the local currency. Scenery Travel Service liability is limited to the booking and payment of the hired services according to the terms and conditions agreed with each supplier. 

If due to personal reasons the Client fails to make use of the accommodation, excursions or transfers included in the tour, he/she shall not be entitled to any refund or claim.

J. Tax Refund Benefit

Passport copy and place of residence is mandatory to confirm the VAT refund benefit where applicable.  If passport copy and place of residence is not received at time of confirming the booking, the VAT tax should be added to the invoice.   VAT refund benefit does not apply in case of no-show. 

K. Applicable law

The laws of Argentina govern these Terms & Conditions to the fullest extent allowable. Any disputes in connection with a trip or these Terms & Conditions must be initiated in the courts of Buenos Aires, Argentina
